Drew Bernstein, Co-Chair, MBP in an interview with The New York Times about the Didi IPO, explained that Southeast Asia is the next frontier for new tech investments.

“How are they going to do in places like Africa, the Middle East, or South America? Will you be hailing a Didi or an Uber?” said Drew Bernstein, the co-chairman of Marcum BP, an audit and advisory firm focused on Asia.

Didi has multiple characteristics of a promising global company, with strong revenues, profitability, a clear business model, and strong corporate governance and transparency evidenced by the C-suite’s communication. This company is a great example of what’s to come as China continues to innovate and transform as global tech tigers.
