About Alvin

Alvin Yan joined MBP in 2012 and is a Director in the SEC Audit group. 

Mr. Yan has substantial experience performing various audits, including U.S.-listed, multinational corporations’ annual, pre-IPO, and PRC statutory audits. He brings extensive accounting knowledge in U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Before joining Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk LLP, he started his professional career as a staff accountant with KPMG.

Mr. Yan assists Chinese companies with complex accounting and financial reporting matters related to SEC audits. He brings deep knowledge of the process of listing and financing, compliance with relevant SEC regulations, and enterprise internal controls. He is exceptionally skilled in complex financial instruments and debt and equity transactions. His experience spans sectors including education, Internet finance, manufacturing, e-sports, real estate, agriculture, and the international trade industry.

Mr. Yan has led complex, large-scale projects and is equipped with profound practical experiences. Mr. Yan is skilled at financial due diligence for M&A transactions. He has also participated in forensic consulting services for multiple public companies. With this background, Mr. Yan is dedicated to providing MBP clients with high-quality and efficient work.
